As my turn in date is next week it is super convienient that my local Mazda dealer just happened to have the exact CX5 I want on the lot.
And since mazda is 0 percent for 63 months I will be picking it up Saturday.
Not exactly my future crossover but it is whatever they call this blue over parchment

Good buy. We love ours.

Never heard a bad testimony of the CX-5. Good work.

63 month finance? Damn

CX-5 is great! Probably the easiest to drive car that I’ve ever driven!

06-09 Outback XT....who needs a car payment.

Yeah we are working on all the other debts from having a newborn and such and since it was zero percent we were like sure why not.

60 months isn’t that uncommon. Both of my BMWs were financed for that length of time. However, I paid off the M3 in 13 months and didn’t have the 128i more than 8 months.

Yay! We’ve had ours for 4 years this month and still love it.

Sounds like a solid deal, maybe too good. I just hope there are no hidden fees and such.

Missed Opportunity but congrats on the choice, I’ve always been happy when people went to Mazda instead of Honda or Toyota.

Shouldn’t be, got my out the door costco member quote today.

It’s a touring without any factory or dealer options. Though I will likely snag the heavy duty floor mats as they are half the price of the weathertech mats.

I always thought 60 was pretty standard for new cars.

I guess it’s down to personal preference. It’s not really that common to finane a car for more than three years here I believe. Personally, I’d rather finance a house than a car that will be outdated when finally paid off.

I feel like it’s the most common length.

Then go for it. 0 percent financing is a great thing but hidden costs can make things damn expensive.

Be sure to claim that you’d have paid more for a new Mazda5. Doesn’t have to be true #fakedemand

I work in auto sales and 60 is the standard term these days. A lot of people are going to 72 to 75 months.

The Mazda cargo area rubber liner is also very nice.

Sucker... you could’ve bought an 18-year-old beige Suburban for way less!
I’ll see myself out as soon as I’m done filling my 42 gallon tank.

We love our CX5! It’s a great baby hauler too.

I honestly floated that idea to the Mrs. and she just laughed at me.

Yeah, we have a 2 year old and a 2 month old, and the little one demands her swing travel with us over the holidays so going smaller wasn’t an option.

I’m debating accessories I pick up, the weathertech cargo mat (not the rubber one) works with the cargo blocks and after having those in my TDI they would be nice to have again.

My wife doesn’t love it. But, it was cheap!

Ours is super base. A FWD Sport with the only options being the upgraded radio and the roof rails. They’ve reconfigured the stereo for ‘16, but in ‘13 (the first year), the base radio didn’t have Bluetooth.
![]() 12/11/2016 at 20:26 |

Ah its AWD as apparently they sell very few FWD unless they are super base sports.
I’ll probably put a hitch on it later for a platform (not real towing, I’m not that insane) so I’m glad it doesn’t have the roof rails.

Terms like that just show they can’t afford the vehicle otherwise #hottake
![]() 12/11/2016 at 21:23 |

Huh. I have never heard of these cargo blocks. I’ll have to check into them.
![]() 12/11/2016 at 22:19 |

Well, if the banking regulations get relaxed under the trump regime, I imagine we will see longer terms.

Keeps new auto sales inflated. Instead of addressing the falling wages vs sticky car price issue, we will just move stuff around and keep things seemingly affordable. But think of all the poor fools who have 67 months of payments left on their Chysler 200s.
